1 – ACTIVITY

The LBO ART & ANTIQUES website mainly offers antiques and works of art.

None of the parts offered for sale are new and some date back hundreds of years.

The parts therefore show signs of wear, imperfections, various deficiencies. These are described in the descriptions of the parts offered for sale. Each piece is also presented in photography. Whenever possible, we take photos in natural light.

For many reasons, the photo can, despite our efforts to avoid it, present a different rendering of the real part. We therefore invite you to ask us for other photos that we have at your disposal (other angles, details, other lights ...). LBO Art & Antiques cannot be held responsible for these differences in rendering.

All the pieces presented for sale are for decorative use only.

2 - TRANSACTION

All orders are made by email or in writing in the event of a meeting on our premises. Meetings are possible but only by appointment. We do not have a store open to the public. Any order placed implies acceptance by the buyer of these general conditions of sale.

Everything presented for sale on the site may also be for sale on other media, it is imperative to check availability before ordering. In the event of a conflict between two buyers, the “first buyer” rule will be applied.

As the parts are not stored in our company, it is useless to come to our premises without prior appointment.

An order is only considered as such when we have the precise contact details of the buyer and the entire amount of the part has been cashed into our bank account.

When ordering, any buyer confirms their legal capacity to conclude the transaction.

3 – SHIPPING

Packages are generally dispatched or removed within 8 to 10 days after receipt of payment.

LBO Art & Antiques prefers payments by bank transfer.

Purchases are shipped via UPS, DHL or similar with a tracking number, insurance and delivered with the buyer's signature. Shipping costs include preparation and packaging costs as well as shipping / transport costs. The preparation costs are fixed, while the transport costs vary according to the total weight of the package, its value and its final destination. In case of multiple purchases, a grouping can be considered when it is possible in practice.

Packages are shipped at the risk of the buyer, but special attention is paid to fragile items. The dimensions of the boxes / cases are appropriate and the items are properly protected. We systematically try to cover the risk of transport by insurance.

Buyers are responsible for checking prior to purchase whether the antiquities import law allows the purchased item to enter their territory. LBO Art & Antiques cannot be held responsible for any blockages or even confiscation at the customs of the destination countries. Import fees are payable by the buyer.

LBO Art & Antiques sends the goods in declared value with the customs documents and appropriate invoice. In no case does LBO Art & Antiques agree to fictitiously reduce the declared values or to send the goods in the "gift-worthless" category.

LLBO Art & Antiques favors hand delivery when possible.

For any delivery problem (damaged package, missing object, etc.), the customer must notify the carrier immediately, detailing the finding. At the same time, the customer notifies the finding to LBO Art & Antiques by email.
