Wooden sculpture from the Dayak people of the island of Borneo representing a hornbill.

Originally, this bird was found in the culture of "headhunters". The statues were supposed to make the connection with the god of the hunt. The beak was voluntarily gigantic and the helmet “spiraled” and shaped like a flame.

The object shows some almost invisible traces of repair.
