Burmese offerings bowl

Burmese bowl in bronze-copper and tin alloy, decorated with 6 panels depicting the life of Buddha (material repelled with a hammer). This bowl probably comes from the Inle lake region. Such a bowl was used in Buddhist ceremonies for offerings. Marked below. Second half of the 19th century

This bowl was acquired by the current owner in the second half of the 20th century from an antique dealer in Rangoon (Myanmar). He mandated our company to sell this visible piece in Brussels or in its suburbs.
